Thankless jobs

Most of us are depending on jobs to earn for a good living. Some of us may be working in the job sector in which we are interested. But some others may have to work in a sector which does not satisfy their likes. But I think there are a lot of workers who are working under difficult circumstances which we can’t even imagine. Because, such work may be dangerous or low paid / no paid or under very difficult circumstances.

I have seen several times that a man was standing in front of a hotel by holding a board written “Meals Ready”. It was a sort of advertising used by the hotel management to grab attention of people. That man stands there for hours. One of my friend said that how can that person stand like that for hours every day. What would have been his salary?

If we look around, we can see a lot of such valuable works. I think they are doing thankless jobs like the following.

 Soldiers

Soldiers are working for the security of the entire nation without even considering their life. They are working away from their home in heavy risky situations. By risking their life they are saving the Country. They are there to save us.  But they will be remembered only when any war or terrorist attack or something like that happens. What about their family? Just remember them too in all our success. We must be thankful to them for our lives.

 Cleaning Jobs

Cleaning workers are essential for keeping the society clean. We may insist on keeping the city clean. But if any block occurred in the cleaning pipes, it would end up in calling the cleaning workers and getting the work done by them. Can you imagine a city without them?

 Traffic Police

Cities are well known for traffic blocks. We may get irritated by traffic issues. Just think, what will happen if the traffic police get irritated? Entire traffic system will be collapsed. They are working without considering whether rain or whatever it is.

 House wife

These are the kind of people who are working without any payment, that too from day beginning to day end and without any retirement option. Are they having food in the right time? Are they taking rests properly?  

 Bus Conductors

Sometimes we may have a tough time with these guys. There are bus conductors who are working from early morning till night. Sometimes even in Sundays. What about their life?
